‘Prepare To Grow’ with Pastor Elaine Ables

After returning from sabbatical, Pastor Elaine looks back at the incredible messages God brought through Victory Church Camden over the summer and reveals the thread that connected them all:

Go deeper in prayer.
Go deeper in worship.
Go deeper in trusting God.
Go deeper in healing.
Go deeper in gratitude.
Go deeper in righteousness.
Go deeper in our relationship with Him.

Scripture says, “𝐃𝐞𝐞𝐩 𝐜𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐬 𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐨 𝐝𝐞𝐞𝐩.” God is inviting His people beyond where we’ve been and into a deeper place in His presence. But He will not force us there—He extends the invitation, and we have to choose to respond.

Victory Church has also received a challenge for the season ahead: 𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐠𝐫𝐨𝐰𝐭𝐡. We cannot simply ask God to enlarge the tent while refusing to prepare it. We have a part to play. We must deepen our prayer lives, strengthen our faith, love people well, reach out to those who walk through our doors, and prepare ourselves for what God wants to do.

Growth isn’t measured only by how many people attend church. The real question is:

𝐀𝐫𝐞 𝐰𝐞 𝐛𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐥𝐢𝐤𝐞 𝐉𝐞𝐬𝐮𝐬 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲 𝐝𝐚𝐲?

God is calling.

The invitation is open.
