Jesus told the story of two men who built two houses. One looked wise because he built quickly and enjoyed the comforts of his finished home. The other looked foolish because he spent his time, effort, and energy making sure his foundation was right.
Then the storm came.
And everything changed.
In this powerful message, โ๐๐ฎ๐ข๐ฅ๐ ๐๐จ๐ฎ๐ซ ๐๐จ๐ฎ๐ฌ๐,โ we’re challenged to examine the foundation of our own spiritual lives. Anybody’s house can look good while the sun is shining. The real test comes when the storm hits.
Every one of us is building a spiritual houseโand that house is our relationship with Jesus Christ. Prayer, time in God’s Word, obedience, faithfulness, and our personal walk with Him are putting something into that foundation every day.
Sometimes building the right foundation can feel unnecessary. You may look around and see others seemingly prospering without making the same sacrifices.

Because when the storm hit, the wise man’s preparation wasn’t wasted. The very storm that brought down the foolish man’s house proved why the wise man’s foundation mattered.
Don’t wait until the storm arrives to discover what you’ve built your life upon.

Because when the storm comes, your house can stand.
